PACIFIC BREWING & MALTING CELEBRATES 1st ANNIVERSARY

TACOMA, Wash – On Saturday, October 3 from 2:00 p.m. ’til midnight, Pacific Brewing & Malting Co. will celebrate its First Anniversary. To mark the occasion, the brewery and taproom is hosting a giant party with live music, special seasonal and limited edition beer, food, prizes and more.

“This first year has been a wild ride,” stated co-owner and brewer Steve Navarro. “We had no idea the response would be so huge, so we’re celebrating our successful first year in style.”

Attendees of the First Anniversary Celebration will enjoy pints of popular year-round offerings, plus all-new seasonal brews including (but not limited to) Baron Von Huth Oktoberfest, Venerator Doppelbock, and Bavarian Hefeweizen. Food will be available for purchase from Brew Dog, a local gourmet hot dog and bratwurst vendor. Music provided by local Tacoma band The Approach. Each attendee will receive a raffle ticket upon entry for a chance to win PB&M swag. Brand new glassware, t-shirts, hoodies and other apparel will be available for purchase.

As part of the celebration, Pacific Brewing & Malting Co. is releasing the first of the Jubilaum Anniversary Series. Jubilaum Black Cherry Berliner Weisse is a kettle soured wheat beer that’s been aged on black cherries to provide hints of fruit flavor. It is low alcohol at 3.0%, light, tart, and refreshing with a slight sweetness.

“We’ve never released so many new beers on a single day before,” exclaims Navarro. “If you appreciate good beer, there’s no place else you’re going to want to be on October 3rd!”

Mark your calendar for Saturday, October 3rd. The brewery and taproom is always family friendly, with free juice boxes for kids.
